People and follow-ups

Today

Today is the first page. It combines people to contact with overdue and due tasks, according to the board sections you have enabled. People appear in these groups:

People at the stages Won and Lost are not shown on Today.

Click a person to open their card.

Prep for call

On a board with more than one member, Today has a Prep for call tile. Select it, then select the person you have a call with. The board makes a short brief from its own data. It uses no AI and sends nothing anywhere. The brief has these groups, and each card shows in one group only:

Copy brief copies the brief as text. Copy for AI adds a prompt that asks Claude, Codex or ChatGPT to make a short agenda from it. The board remembers the last person you selected, in this browser only.

Add a person

Click Add… to open the form. Name is required; company, role, email, phone and LinkedIn are optional. After the person is added, their card opens so you can add a stage, next step, notes or anything else.

For a one-line shortcut, type **Name Company Role Email** in the add box and press Enter.

A person’s card

Each field saves on its own when you leave it. There is no Save button.

Log a contact

  1. In Contact log, write what you sent or talked about.
  2. Select the channel: LinkedIn, Email, Call, Meeting or Note.
  3. Click Log it.

When you log a contact for a person at the first stage (New), the person moves to Contacted.

Drafts

A draft is a message that you have not sent yet. It does not count as contact.

  1. Paste the draft into the contact log and select Draft (not sent yet). AI assistants log their drafts in the same way.
  2. Click 📋 Copy on the draft and paste it into LinkedIn or your email.
  3. Send it yourself.
  4. Click Mark sent. Type the date for the follow-up, or leave it empty.

Copy for AI

🤖 Copy for AI at the top of a card (also in its ⋯ menu) copies the person, their stage, their next step and their recent contact log. Paste it into Claude, ChatGPT or another assistant and ask for a message. See AI assistants.

People lists everyone. Search by name, company, notes or next step, or select a stage.

Delete a person

Open the ⋯ (More actions) menu at the top of the card, select Delete person and confirm the warning. Use the Undo button, Ctrl+Z on Windows/Linux, or ⌘Z on a Mac if you change your mind during the same board session. See Privacy and security for what stays in the repo history.
